Today we decided to take it easy and enjoy our accommodation until departure time.

We had breakfast at 8.30 am on the outside terrace. The breakfast was brutal, grilled eggs, bread and two types of pancakes, natural jam, olive oil, tea or coffee, natural juice, cheese, butter, fruit .... I don't know what more you could ask for.
This afternoon Oscar and Marina arrive and we go to pick them up at the airport to start our tour of the 1,000 Kasbahs area.

Before arriving at the airport we stop at a shopping centre in Marrakech to buy a bottle of wine and a few beers to welcome our friends.
In Morocco you can only buy alcohol in Carrefour or in some specialized liquor store. The prices are similar to those in Spain, very expensive compared to the salaries in the country.
We have a quick lunch in a Burger King for 90dh for both of us.
At 17.30 we arrive at the Menara airport in Marrakech to meet our friends. An hour and a half later we leave the city towards Telouet where we will spend the night.

From Marrakech to Telouet we cross the Tizi N'Tichka pass, the road is in good condition although there have been landslides due to the torrential rains of the previous week.
Two and a half hours later we arrive in Telouet. Being at night it is a little difficult to find the accommodation but soon they come out to look for us.
The accommodation is beautiful and very well kept. The value for money is unbeatable.
We asked them to prepare dinner for us and they gave us one of the best chicken tajines we have eaten on the whole trip, with Moroccan salad and melon for dessert.
Tizi, our host, tells us that the owner of the house is a foreigner and that he lives there taking care of it and looking after the guests. It is very common in Morocco for foreigners to invest in lodgings that are then run by local families.
